Our Social Values

What is Social Value?

The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 was enacted on 8th March 2012, requiring public sector organizations to consider the potential for suppliers to deliver services that enhance the well-being of the community and the environment.

These services aim to improve various aspects, including:

  1. Social well-being
  2. Environmental sustainability
  3. Economic development
  4. General well-being

To go beyond the requirements of the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, a new social value model was introduced on 1st January 2021. This model sets additional measures for the central government, aiming to:

  1. Create new job opportunities and foster skill development
  2. Promote economic growth
  3. Support COVID-19 recovery efforts
  4. Address climate change
  5. Promote equal opportunities across the UK

At our organization, we prioritize delivering services to the highest standards of excellence while considering social value. We strive to enhance both our local and national environments and encourage employee engagement with charitable causes they support.
